Besides the fact that Tara has built a healthy and rewarding business, withstanding a harsh economic environment and encouraging would be entrepreneurs, House of Tara has also become a household name for (Particularly) young females to be mentored regularly. These mentoring sessions are organized not just for women wishing to be make up Artists, but cut across many practical fields, inviting authorities in those fields to coach these young women on the pros and cons to be considered.
House of Tara also provides a platform, encouraging young people to stand up to their fears and live their dreams. In 2013, HOUSE OF TARA (HOT) published “100 voices”, a first of many to come, which chronicles the challenges of a hundred young people who against odds started their business.
HOT is also a major contributor to the quarterly faith based non profit Organization Awesome treasures, encouraging women in the faith.
