Reverend (Mrs.) Mercy T. Iwo, hails from Okrika Local Government Area, born to late Sampson and late Clara Bamiofori in Okrika.
Rev. (Mrs.) Iwo a certified Senior Nursing Officer who served with distinction in the Rivers State Ministry of Health for many years. After opting for voluntary retirement from her Civil Service position, she devoted herself to full-time Gospel work partnering with her Husband in Ministry.
Rev. (Mrs.) Iwo’s ministerial journey is marked by notable/significant roles, including serving as the Rivers State Leader of Christian Women Fellowship International (CWFI) in Church of God Mission International.
As the Co-Founder of Grace Covenant Ministries Inc. in Port Harcourt Rivers State, she has served as an Associate Pastor for over 25 years, shepherding countless souls and spreading the gospel.
Grace Covenant Ministries Inc. is a Mission-Oriented Ministry that has taken the gospel to various regions, including Taraba State, Kenya, Liberia and beyond. Through this ministry Rev. (Mrs.) Iwo and her team have preached the Gospel, spreading hope and redemption to diverse communities.
Currently, Rev. (Mrs.) Mercy Iwo serves as one of the Rivers State Co-Ordinator’s for the Feast of Esther Rivers State Zone under the leadership of Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, wife of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye. This role allows her to further empower women and spread the message of hope and redemption.
Rev. (Mrs.) Iwo is blessed with Children and several Grandchildren who bring her immense Joy. Her legacy as a woman of Faith, Compassion and Dedication continues to inspire generations serving as a testament to her unwavering commitment to God’s work.
