Introduction
Pastor (Barrister.) Mrs Karibo Awoibim Gloria (nee Amachree), is an indigene of Rivers state.
A devout Christian. She serves in the office of Evangelist and Pastor in her Church.
God comes first in Ibim’s life having been taught to love God from early childhood by her late mother, Mrs Ransolinah Sisiya Amachree (of blessed memory).
Barrister Ibim have widely travelled, and has a deep passion for humanitarian services, especially the defence of the less privileged, and women rights.
She is a widow with four children in different endeavours.
Education and Career
She attended secondary school at the prestigious federal government college, Sokoto.
She holds a B.Sc. in International Studies, from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and L.L.B. from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt and B.L. from the Nigeria Law School.
A Barrister and Solicitor of the Council of Legal Education, Lagos.
Ibim (as fondly called) served as a Director, in the Rivers State Ministry of Justice, (Chambers of the Honourable Attorney General, Rivers State) from 1992 to 2023, in various capacities, until she retired from Civil Service In 2023.

Barrister Awoibim is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, U.K.
She is a member of the International Federation of Women Lawyers.
She is the National President of the Foundation for the Advancement of Women Entrepreneurs, (the Nigerian Branch of the World Association of Women Entrepreneurs is the oldest World Businesswomen Organisation).
She is the Commissioner in charge of the English-speaking African Countries.
