Oluwatoyin is a Purpose kindler. She is a certified Character-Based Relationship and Sexual Integrity Educator of the Day Spring Training Institute and the International Parent Institute (USA) as well as a certified faith – based counsellor of the International Institute of Faith- Based Counseling (USA). She is a teacher, speaker, mentor, Girl –Guider, child and women rights advocate.
Oluwatoyin coordinates Child Protection Network, Oyo State, a UNICEF Initiative of over eighty (80) Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), comprising Community Based Organisations (CBOs), Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and Faith -Based Organisations (FBOs) as well as relevant government, ministries, departments and agencies, security agencies as well as professional bodies that are working together in the best interests of children to protect them against all forms of abuse, violence and exploitation. She has been involved in the rescue, rehabilitation, provision of pscho social / medical support and shelter to children who are victims of child labour, physical and sexual abuse, children who are in conflict with the law, family tracing and reunion for trafficked children, shelter and rehabilitation for teenagers and young adults living with disabilities, those who are involved in substance and drug abuse/addiction and pregnant teenagers. She has also partnered with other organizations. She has also been in involved in the provision and distribution of educational supplies such as uniforms and stationery as well as payment of external exam fees for indigent students. Oluwatoyin is the Executive Director of Pan African Purpose-Driven Women Initiative, (www.papdwi.org) an NGO set up to raise purposeful individuals who are passionate about making sustainable positive impact in all spheres of existence. She is passionate about seeing people discover, develop and fulfill their purposes in life. She runs outreaches, organizes trainings and capacity building conferences on abstinence model approach of age – appropriate sexual integrity education, life skills /entrepreneurial skills as well as virtual training platforms for teenagers and young adults, by going to secondary schools through which she has reached over twenty thousand teens and young adults in over 100 schools between 2017 and 2023 in both private and government. she has reached thousands of teenagers and adults on advocacies, sensitizations on radio and TV shows, road walk, stakeholders’ engagement and trainings on: Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation for which she has been to over 10 LGAs in Oyo State, Eradication of Child Labour, Trafficking in Persons and other issues that affect the rights of women and children. She collaborates with Connecting Hearts Initiative for the discipleship empowerment, rehabilitation and re integration of “Ladies of Virtue” (female commercial sex workers). Between 2018 and 2021, over one hundred “Ladies of Virtue” have been reached. Between August 2020 and March 2023, over twenty of the ladies who have been through various discipleship programmers’ and empowerment/skill acquisition trainings have been empowered with start-up tools. Oluwatoyin is happily married to Idowu Ogedengbe, a chartered stock broker and investment banker. They are blessed with amazing and awesome godly seeds. She and her husband together serve as the pastors of House on the Rock Church, Ibadan |
