With an unusual passion for helping humanity, she is currently the West African Regional Director of Smile Train – US-based world’s largest Cleft Charity making safe and quality treatment of cleft lip and palate accessible to millions who cannot afford it and at totally free of charge. She serves voluntarily as director of Smile. Despite Mrs Nkeiruka Obi educational background and her rising up to senior management level within banking industry, her passion for humanity compelled her to follow her service to humanity passionately.

She is also the founder and initiator of Sisters Unite for Children , under the umbrella of sisters unite, Mrs Nkeiruka Obi mobilizes professional Christian women around the country to look after the well-being of vulnerable children, youth and women. She built the first NGO in Lagos State to establish a Home and Vocation Centre for rehabilitating rescued street girls. Since it was established, it has provided care, education, nutrition and shelter to five hundred (500) indigent street children in Lagos State.
