
Her Excellency, Dr. Mina Tele Ikuru is a multidisciplinary and target driven professional, a serial philanthropist and ardent believer of life-long learning and improvement.
She is a Specialist Endocrinologist, with over twenty-three years of medical practice. With Master’s Degree in Public Administration, being the best graduating student, Class of 2017 (CGPA 4.9/5, UNIPORT); Distinction in Master of Clinical Management Medical and Healthcare Administration (Tech Global University, Spain), and distinction in PhD in Strategic Management (European Global School, France). With executive certifications in Healthcare Strategy (Havard Business School), etc.
She has worked with the Rivers State Government for twenty years and is currently the Medical Director of Rivers State Civil Servants Clinic, scaling the services to be one of the best public hospitals in the state. She received the award of Best Performing Medical Director for 2023. She is also a visiting lecturer in GCPBS and member of the Board of Governing Council with the award of Best Performing Governing Council Member for 2019 to 2024. And the Chairperson of the Medical Department of Rivers Province 1, RCCG.
Her Excellency is a philanthropist engaged in free medical outreaches and sponsoring medical bills and tuition at various levels. She is a motivational speaker offering pro-bono services to religious organizations and underserved groups and has received numerous awards for these.
She is a Chartered Strategic Management Professional with The Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership of The Commonwealth of Kentucky, U.S.A.; member American College of Healthcare Executives; European Society of Endocrinology; and, a distinguished Fellow and Life Member of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria, Chartered, etc.
She is married to His Excellency, Dr. Engr. Telenyem Renner Ikuru (FNSE, FNSMechE, FNIME, FICEN, DSSR), former deputy governor of Rivers State, and Chairman of Festym Heritage Group, with four children.
