Faith Chinyere Tom-Babs is a social sector manager from African Management Institute and an alumni of Enterprise Development Centre, Pan Atlantic University Lagos-Nigeria, with ten (10) years of intensive work in the social impact space. She is popularly known for her work in Child Protection, Provision of Education for indigent children, Teen Mentoring and Counseling.
She is the Executive Director of Heal the world and Care for People Initiative, a registered Non-Governmental organization founded in 2014. Through her non-profit, Faith educates children, parents, teachers and caregivers on child abuse awareness and prevention strategies. Beyond passion for what she does, she is a trained mandated reporter, counselor and therapist from Middlesex Children’s Advocacy Center.
She’s also the CEO of PLUS Star Consult where she counsels, trains and consults on family safety, schools safety, social impact issues, among others.
Faith is a PEFTI Film Institute trained TV Presenter turned Information Technologist from the National Open University of Nigeria. She also has an Advanced Diploma certificate in Business Administration from City and Guilds of London institute.
In 2015, Faith joined the league of Humanitarians after training with Institute for Humanitarian Studies and Societal Development (IHSD). She’s also a member of the chartered institute of corporate mentoring and career coaching Nigeria. Faith is a licensed management consultant and a fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants.
In 2018, Faith received the Next Generation Female Leader award by AWLO (African Women Leadership Organization), for her work with children and young adults.
From advocacy and sensitization on the rights of children since 2014, Faith discovered and adopted a fishing port with a school in 2020 where there was a literacy gap with 23pupils and 2 teachers. As at today, the school has 114 pupils and 7teachers.
She is all about for the holistic development of children.
